Get a Fake Girlfriend on Facebook

Remember when you were in high school and there was always that one kid who couldn't get a date, so they lied and told everyone they had a girlfriend (or boyfriend) who lived in Canada? They had to pretend to talk to them on the phone so everyone thought they were cool.

Things don't really

change much. Now, in the days of internet relationships and Facebook friends, you can sign up for a Cloud Girlfriend.

The Cloud Girlfriend website describes how it works:

"Step 1: Define your perfect girlfriend.

Step 2: We bring her into existence.

Step 3: Connect and interact with her publicly on your favorite social network Step 4: Enjoy a public long distance relationship with your perfect girl."

The application hasn't yet launched, but All Facebook says people familiar with Facebook's terms of service tend to think it won't last.
